Background
Musculoskeletal conditions affect 1.71 billion people worldwide. Conditions such as torn ligaments, torn tendons, sprains, dislocations, and bone fractures inhibit knee function and cause unhealthy walking gaits that elicit further knee injury and pain.
Clinical Need
A clinical device is needed to analyze the health of a person's walking gait and provide intuitive feedback to physical therapists to implement in their rehabilitative plans and produce optimal long-term results for minimizing knee pain and improving overall knee function.
